Conveniently located just a few meters from the lake, the car park is a large, well-surfaced area, providing ample space for vehicles of all sizes. Recently, we’ve enhanced the security of the car park with the installation of modern security gates and robust perimeter fencing. These additions ensure that your vehicle remains safe and secure throughout your stay, giving you peace of mind while you enjoy your time by the lake.

Our angling facilities are second to none. We offer a variety swims, each meticulously maintained to provide a comfortable place for fishing. These swims are generously sized, making them ideal for long-stay anglers who bring a lot of gear. Many of our swims are double swims, meaning there’s plenty of room for you to settle in for a productive session by the water.

For your convenience, a well-maintained path encircles the perimeter of the lake, providing easy access to all areas, including our essential facilities. A short walk along this path will bring you to our clean and toilet facilities, ensuring you never have to venture far from the water when nature calls. Fresh drinking water is also available on tap near the car park, so you can stay hydrated and comfortable throughout your stay.

Rookery Lake is regularly patrolled by our dedicated gamekeeper, who also doubles as our on-site pest control expert. The gamekeeper is always on hand to assist with any issues you may encounter, whether it’s advice on the best fishing spots or dealing with any unexpected wildlife. Their presence ensures that the lake remains a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment for all visitors.

Should you find yourself in need of supplies or a quick meal, you’ll be pleased to know that Rookery Lake is just a short drive from a range of convenient amenities. Within minutes, you can reach a 24-hour garage, perfect for any last-minute essentials. For food options, there are several fast-food outlets nearby, including McDonald’s and Burger King, as well as a variety of pizza shops offering both takeaway and delivery services. If you’re in the mood for something different, there are also excellent Indian and Chinese takeaways available. And, of course, the area is home to numerous quality public houses where you can unwind with a drink and a meal after a long day of fishing.
